Full Circle Maternity has tried to make midwifery care as easy as possible. That is why
so many services are offered to you free from additional charges. Below is a list of
our basic services covered under the blanket fee of $2000.00. Often
times I like to surprise my clients with special pamperings that may not be listed below.
This list is provided to show you our minimum standard.
Initial Visit
Free 1 hour Initial Visit This is your opportunity to ask me questions and discuss
any concerns you may have regarding homebirth or how I practice. We will also review your
history and address any concerns about previous pregnancies or family medical history. At this
visit you will receive a free pregnancy test (if needed) and a free sample bag. If you decide that
you would like to hire Full Circle Maternity, you will be given a Prenatal Handbook. It contains
a Journal for your thoughts and feeling, as well as many informational handouts to help you
throughout your prenatal care. This is also a great place to keep track of the questions you would
like to ask me at your next appointment as well as your own personal progress through pregnancy.
Prenatal Care
- At your in home prenatal visits we may take your blood pressure and pulse, test your urine for any
abnormalities, measure your growing belly to assure your baby is healthy, and listen to your baby's
heartbeat. We will also discuss any questions you or your partner may have. I am here to guide you through your
journey and provide educational opportunities.
- At each visit I will have a goodie bag of coupons and samples for you.
Standard Birth Services
- Cell phone access to your Midwife for questions and concerns. No secretaries or nurses to take
messages. I do ask that clients be mindful of my family time.
- Continuous labor and birth support in the comfort of your own home
- Access to the Water Birth Tub with the new Belly Sprayer. It is so important
to listen to your body during labor and birth. Most women make many position changes utilizing various
comfort measures. Water has proven to be soothing and therapeutic, with an overall, "AHHH..." response.
This option will always be available to you with no added fees.
- Thorough monitoring of you and your unborn baby throughout
- Responsive support from your custom designed support team
Immediate Postpartum Breastfeeding Consultation and Instruction
- Prenatal guidance in positioning and latch-on techniques
- Assistance and advice after the birth and postpartum to ensure a good latch and positioning
- Recommendations and referral may be offered upon assessment
Standard Postpartum Care for Mother and Newborn
- Thorough newborn exam after birth (not intended to replace a physicians exam)
- 24 hour home visit, to ensure well-being and breastfeeding success
- 3-4 postpartum visits for mom and baby
- 3-day postpartum home visit from Pediatrician Dr. Winesett
Happy Birthday Bag, Samples and Magazines
 I have combed the earth for these great offers for new and expecting parents. You will receive
a diaper bag packed full with Huggies newborn diapers, Lansinoh, Avent, Desitin, Burt's Bees,
Johnson and Johnson, breast pads, maternity/nursing catalogs, information brochures, and
several different expecting and new parent magazines. Your Happy Birthday Diaper Bag will be
given at 36 weeks. Samples may vary.
Blood Testing/Lab Work
An initial Prenatal Panel will be obtained during the first trimester to determine wellness
and blood type and an additional Hemogram at 28 weeks to rule out possible risk factors. RH
mothers should expect an additional fee of $150 for RhoGam and additional lab work.
Birth Supply Kit
Our birth kit will include everything you will need to birth at home, from towel service so you
don't have to ruin your own good towels, to cord clamps and hand knitted baby hats. It also includes
anything you will need to protect your home from spills and stains. We have gone
to great lengths to find the best quality. No detail will be left behind.
